2008, at 11 Rue de Columiers, Paris, France. Bella Ciao is an Italian traditional song. It takes its origin from chants of rise-pickers, principally from Piedmont; during World War II it was adopted by the Partisans and resistance to Nazist-Fascist occupation of Northern Italy. We are fully convinced that music and politics should stay far apart from each other. However, and an increasing disgust for a society of half-surrogate man, skimmed, condensate, vane and faint, plasticized and suntanned, made-up and triple-faced, bland and frivolous, inconsistent and servile, dumb and numb, this is an homage to people who had Values and put their life at stake to stand up for their believing. And because the fight is never ever over. Merry Christmas! The Under My Bed Recordings info: e-mail. | |||||
