Well well well, what can I say. I'm pretty impressed by these Italian guys. The first band that came to my mind was Neurosis. The singers voice really sounds like Steve Von Til's; the guitar plays similar stuff sometimes and I don't know, it just reminded me of them. Stoned out long calm parts, heavy pounding drumming and intensive outbreaks, not to be consumed in the wrong mood, sometimes you even forget the music is not inside your head, created by your thoughts, I had to make that clear to myself sometimes because I got kinda lost. They are not as good as Neurosis, but who could be? At least they have the potential! Plus another good point, although there are a lot of similarities it is clear that they are not copying, you hear that they have their own idea of how the music should be like. Put that together with a really really nice artwork which has no black in it and is pretty refreshing and you get a record that is definitely worth checking out. !
