Disappearing over the horizon. Noises of steps all around from disused figures as seen through opalescent glasses. Just a few more inches from the finishing line of another worthless effort, the race is gone, the time is set, the deserved rest of a dark room's waiting. Plans still running, of lining up for next round of competition, between a thin line and higher hopes. Because there is no race that cannot be won, at least once.
